Recent work:

  • Advising on the recovery of losses in the region of half a million pounds, a victim of a sophisticated cryptocurrency fraud.

  • Advising a company the victim of defamatory statements made online to damage the reputation of the company, resolved via negotiation without the need to litigate and/or obtain an injunction/take down notice.

  • Successfully resolved an IP infringement on behalf of a company, who had their IP stolen and replicated by a competitor.

Outside the office
Leigh has an eclectic taste in music and enjoy attending gigs and music festivals.

Leigh is also a keen collaborator and an expert in residence with the BIPC North East. She also visits primary schools across the region in conjunction with the excellent work undertaken by Spark Tees Valley working with schools and pupils developing cultural capital for children across the North East.
