Alice Clewes is the standout partner in Hay & Kilner’s team. Her all-around knowledge and the quality of her advice are obvious, and she becomes a go-to trusted advisor in no time at all. She is also a pleasure to work with.

Alice was patient, tolerant, tenacious, diplomatic and outstandingly professional whilst navigating constant mendacious, vexatious and malicious disputes raised by the other joint executor of an estate. Alice persevered, despite issuing multiple warnings to the other executor, and reinstating retainer. Finally, after 4 years, Alice effectively, efficiently and practically steered the case to a close, with welcome relief from the other beneficiaries.

Alice was able to do everything that we needed and provide advice not just on our Wills, but also on tax issues, which is also a specialism of hers. She was friendly, clear and knowledgeable and produced everything in a timely fashion, keeping us updated of progress. We have already recommended her to a friend.

Alice's dual qualification (law and accounting) gives a unique perspective to the advice she delivers. She is incredibly thorough, thinks outside the box and her advice is tailored to your needs.

Alice Clewes is excellent with clients. She is friendly, approachable and is able to explain complex matters to a client in a very transparent and clear way.
